QuickBooks Online (QBO) prompts users to the new invoice interface to improve user experience when managing sales forms. With this update, the customer's email address was removed without the ability to add this back. However, switching back to the old invoice layout to have this feature back is possible if you're using QBO Plus and Advance.
On the other hand, if you want to keep the updated layout and the customer email address field together, I recommend sending feedback directly to our product development team. They might include your suggestions when working with future updates.
Here's how:
- Head to the Gear icon.
- Select Feedback.
- Share your comments or product improvement ideas.
- Click Next to submit.
