Online Payment defaulting to weird address

I have a single address for a vendor in the vendor's profile.  It is a PO Box. That is the address on their bill to me.

When I try to pay the bill online, the address changes, the address box becomes grayed (so I can't change it) and the address itself contains two different PO Boxes.

Does the vendor's address change automatically when an online payment is made? If so, can it be fixed?

Thank you for the prompt reply.

Although the problem seems to be solved temporarily, I thought I'd give you the screenshots you so kindly asked for. I manipulated the images just a bit to hide what may be personal information.

I solved the problem by making the vendor inactive and then entering it as a new vendor.  That seems to work (I do have a new problem, but I'll post anew about that).

Online Payment defaulting to weird address

Hi there @Inventor,

Welcome to the Community, so glad you’re here. Let’s see what’s going on with the dual addresses on your online vendor payments. I’d like to ask a couple of questions if you don’t mind.  Is this the only vendor that shows multiple addresses when you pay them online? Would you be able to send me a screenshot, so I can see what you are seeing? Feel free to send via private message if you are more comfortable with that, or you can post here.  Let’s start by removing the address from the vendor profile, then updating QuickBooks:

  1. From the Help menu.
  2. Select Update QuickBooks.
  3. Then Update Now.

Once QuickBooks is updated, go back into the Vendor profile and re-enter the address. Try the online bill payment again.

Let me know how it goes. If that doesn’t clear up the dual addresses, I’ll keep an eye out for a screenshot and we can determine the next steps. I’m here for you!
