Open purchase orders at year end

I have entered a closing date password as of year end.  However we still have open po's.  Each time we receive a invoice to apply to that PO they closing date password has to be used.  Is there aw ay for open PO's not to be affected by the closing date password or a better way to handle?

Open purchase orders at year end

Hello there, Woody55.

I can help you exclude your open purchase orders from requiring a password to be entered.

Here's how:

  1. Open QuickBooks and sign in as the admin.
  2. Go to Company, and select Set Closing Date.
  3. Click Set Date/Password and tick the box to exclude open purchase orders.
  4. Select OK.

I also added a screenshot for your visual reference.
