Are you getting this message when opening your company file?
Let's make sure that the open one is properly closed before opening another. This way, we can avoid the error message. Here's how:
- Go to the File menu
- Select Close Company.
Please also take note that we can open two company files at the same time when using QuickBooks Accountant or QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise. This feature isn't available for the Premier version.
