Buy nowAnyone using QB Desktop Pro having issues sending invoices? I tried sending some today and it asked for my password. I typed in the Yahoo password and it is giving me an error saying its the wrong password.
Hi, SN07. Let me guide you through some troubleshooting steps so you can send your invoices in no time.
First, if you haven't already, please update your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) to the latest version to ensure optimal system performance.
Once done, I recommend checking your Yahoo Mail security settings, as Yahoo uses a 2-Step Verification process for added account protection.
Here's how:
In case you’re still unable to send emails, I suggest using Yahoo’s Generate Third-Party App Passwords tool. It generates a unique password for connecting QuickBooks to your Yahoo account. You'll only need to do this once, and it replaces your regular Yahoo password for QuickBooks integration.
Please note that if you’re batch-sending emails, the password will expire after sending 12 invoices or transactions. You’ll need to generate a new third-party app password to continue.
Here's how:
If the issue persists after following these steps, I recommend referring to this helpful resource for additional troubleshooting: Fix webmail password issues in QBDT.
I’ll ensure this conversation remains open for any future updates and discussions.
