in Personal Plus when I enter a date for a past transaction that I am recording, the screen flashes and that date is replaced by today's date. How can I stop this happening?
Thank you.
Hi there, @gtsrob. I'm here to ensure you can retain transaction data when you enter a past entry in your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) company file.
When entering transactions in QBDT, you can choose to use today's date or the last entered date as default. Seeing that you want to keep the past entry's date when recording, you can change the default date in the Preferences section. To do so, here's how:
Afterward, when you click Save & New, it will follow the past transaction date.
