It's great to have you here in Community, John.

Let me guide you on generating a report displaying your payment records in QuickBooks Online from 2004 to 2019.

Here's how:

  1. On the Left Panel, go to Reports.
  2. In the Search tab, look for Transaction List by Customer Report.
  3. Switch to Classic view.
  4. Click Customize.
  5. In the General section, modify the Date.
  6. Filter the Transaction type to Payments
  7. You can also choose what you want to show in your reports by editing the Rows/Columns and Header/Footer
  8. Hit Run report.

For additional reference, I've also added this article that can help you learn how to personalize your reports: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.

Furthermore, you can memorize this report to save its current customization settings for future use.

Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have further questions about payment records or any QuickBooks-related concerns. It's always our pleasure to help you out. Stay safe.

I got all my sales for 2004 - 2019.  I am looking for only invoices paid with credit card as this is a class action suit on CC payments in that window.  Many thanks...

Hi @John389. Let me go ahead and explain further the details of running a report specified with credit cards.

We can pull up the transactions if it's recorded in QuickBooks Online (QBO). However, we can't if it isn't recorded.

Here's how:

  1. In the left panel, click Reports, then select the Classic View.
  2. Search for Transaction List by Customer, then Customize.
  3. Check the Transaction Type under Filter, and then choose Invoice and Payment.
  4. Under Account, select All Credit Cards Account or select a specific credit card.
  5. Input the Date and click Run Report.

If the transaction you're looking for isn't on the list, you may ask directly through your financial institution.

In addition, you'll want to check this article to get the most out of your financial reports: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.

Do not hesitate to reply to this thread should you have any concerns running your reports in QBO. Keep safe.
