Payroll Liabilities

My payroll liabilites shows that I am overdue on my 943 payments for 3/31/2020 for $199.20.  After the last update it started doing this.  I make deposits every week but this shows up every week after I do payroll.  How can I make an adjustment so it quits showing this?

Payroll Liabilities

Hello, @julievdm1.

There are several possible reasons why your 943 tax payments are displayed overdue in QuickBooks. Let's first make sure that the paid through date on the liability check is after the check date.

  1. Choose Employees' menu.
  2. Choose the Payroll Center.
  3. From the Transactions tab, select  Liability Checks.
  4. Double-click on the liability check for the period that is appearing in the Scheduled Liabilities window.
  5. Edit the check date so it is on or after the paid through date.

You can read through this article for more detailed instructions on how to fix your overdue 943 payments: Scheduled liabilities payroll show as overdue or in red.
