Can I set up and auto email to employees paystubs when I pass my payroll through to Intuit?

Let me provide some insights about emailing paystubs to the employee in QuickBooks Desktop, @JennaJ.

 

Currently, you only have an option to send each pay stub as a PDF to your employee’s email address after done processing your payroll. 

 

Let's start by turning on the pay stub feature. I'll show you how: 

  1. In QuickBooks, go to the Edit menu and choose Preferences.
  2. Click the Send Forms menu and then My Preferences tab.
  3. In the Send email using section, select one from the three options.
  4. When you're done, click OK.

Now, you can start emailing pay stubs to your employees.

  1. Go to the File menu and select Switch to Single-user Mode
  2. Select the File menu again and hover over Print Forms.
  3. Click Pay Stubs.
  4. Choose the Bank Account you use for payroll.
  5. Set the date range for the pay stubs you want to email.
  6. Select the employees you want to email pay stub to. 
  7. Choose Preview to review each pay stub and then select Email.
  8. QuickBooks automatically generates a password for each employee and email and take note of the passwords so you can give them to the recipients. 
  9. Click OK twice to confirm and when you're ready, click Send Now.

Also, after you run payroll, your employees can view their pay stubs at workforce.intuit.com
