Potential scam using the name of Quickbooks

I just want to report that there may be a potential scam using the QuickBooks name that is not affiliated with QuickBooks.

I received a message to call [phone number removed] saying that my credit card was declined and I needed to take care of it immediately.  I checked my QuickBooks account and everything was showing current.  The people at the number are very vague about who they are and what they do but that my service is discontinued until I give them my credit card information. They claim to be with QuickBooks, however when I called QuickBooks to verify, I was told that they have not separated the service portion from the regular QuickBooks subscription.  Interesting because QuickBooks has always kept us informed via email on changes. Of course I did not tell them anything.

So be very careful when someone says that they are from QuickBooks.  I hope this imposter can be shut down.
