Power of Attorney Form

I have to fill out a Power of Attorney form before Quickbooks will allow direct deposit on my new account.  The form doesn't indicate parameters of power the form allows.  It appears as a comprehensive Power of Attorney form, not a Limited Power of Attorney form.  Doesn't this give the random person's name (filled in by by Quickbooks before they sent me the form) complete signing power as well as open access to my bank accounts?  What would keep him from wiping out my bank account because he has legal Power of Attorney??

Power of Attorney Form

Thanks for dropping by here in the Community, @reneeincolorado. Allow me to share some insights about your query.

The state agency requires the Power of Attorney for Intuit to create the tax deposits, file tax returns, and resolve tax notices. To make sure that you won’t encounter any issues with your bank for direct deposit, I recommend calling our payroll support team. They can also help check which parameters the POA will allow.
