Price Rule

Hello

I still have an issue with price rules. Setting the correct price rule for a customer, it gives me a too low price

If I check in the customer center that customer and check the price rule, two customers come up

Any idea?

Thanks!

Jurg

Price Rule

I appreciate your efforts in checking the price rules set for your customer, jbaen. We can review the items to correct the pricing and route you to our support team if necessary. Let me share the specifics below.

Before starting, I'd like to verify if you're using QuickBooks Desktop for Mac, as this version currently doesn’t support the price rules. The screenshot also seemed like QuickBooks Desktop for Windows. Please know your confirmation can help me provide more resolutions according to your program.

In the meantime, review your items to ensure the correct price is applied. You can do this from the Item List or Price Rule List. Follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Lists at the top menu, and choose Item List or Price Rule List.
  2. Double-click the item and select the Price Rules button.
  3. Open each price rule for the item and examine the information entered, then Close.
  4. Click OK.

Moreover, the conditions added to the item setup will show on the Payment Settings. In this case, check the customers selected on the Price Rule and untick the names of those not involved in the transaction.

  1. Hover your mouse to the Customers menu and select Customer Center.
  2. Locate the name and click the Edit icon.
  3. Select Payment Settings, then Show Price Rules.
  4. Double-click the price rule to modify Customers and untick the other names to delete them.
  5. Click OK.

Additionally, this reference contains more details about changing item prices on sales: Set up and use Advanced Pricing.

Furthermore, scan this material to combine accounts, customers, vendors, and more in QuickBooks Desktop for Windows and Mac: Merge list entries in QuickBooks Desktop.

Setting the right price for a product is crucial as it drives business growth and profitability. If you have more questions regarding inventory or sales, add them below. We'll be here to provide more resources.
