Print Appearance Chrome vs Safari

Went live 10/1/24 to Online Plus from desktop.  Was using Chrome to log in originally.  First time reconciling I could barely see the check boxes etc. unless pointer was on the field.  Fiddled with Chrome & Mac settings to no avail.  Switched to using Safari when accessing and voila I could actually see the checkboxes and the print appeared a lot darker.

One would think that an online vendor pages would appear the same depending on whatever browser you use, but apparently not.  Hope this helps someone

Print Appearance Chrome vs Safari

We appreciate you reaching out here in Community, @Roberta10

Switching to Safari, which you've already done, could be the easiest temporary solution since browsers often render pages differently and Safari is generally well-optimized for Mac systems. However, implementing additional steps could also help you effectively use Chrome.

You can try the following tips to improve your Chrome experience:

  1. Update Browser and Operating System.
  2. Adjust Display Settings.
  3. Disabling Browser Extensions.
  4. Clear Cache and Cookies.

You're right that online vendor sites, like those in QuickBooks Online, should appear consistently across different web browsers. However, in reality, every browser interprets and displays web material differently, the actual look may differ. Variations in browser settings, extensions, updates, and even the operating system can impact how items on a webpage can be seen and behave.
