Is there a way to reduce the number of stars on the check?
The problem is when someone tries a mobile upload to deposit the check into an account, the mobile app doesn't read the numeral correctly and rejects the upload.
Any words of wisdom?

I'll share some information about printing checks. Currently, the option to remove spaces or reduce the stars on check is unavailable. I can see how important it is to have the availability to do this on checks. I'll be taking notes about this so our Developers will know that this is something they need to consider adding. Rest assured, they're working nonstop to enhance the product and deliver the best experience for all QuickBooks users.

The presence of multiple asterisks is an important security feature in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), Janet. However, I recognize the challenges it poses for your mobile deposits.
The asterisks serve as a built-in security measure designed to help prevent fraud. Currently, it isn't possible to adjust or reduce the number of asterisks when printing checks in QBDT.
