Printing labels from sales orders

I appreciate you reaching out with your concern, Angel511. I'm here to help you explore the options for printing labels for the items you've sold on a sales order.

Although QuickBooks Desktop doesn't offer a feature to print labels directly from sales orders, many third-party programs can help you accomplish that task.

In the meantime, I'm happy to guide you step-by-step on how to print your sales order with all the necessary item details to ensure accuracy.

Here are the steps to do so:

  1. Open the Sales Order for which you want to print item labels.
  2. Click on the "Print" dropdown menu on the top right of the screen.
  3. Select "Sales Order".
  4. Choose the label type and layout you prefer, and select the printer you want to use.
  5. Customize the label information and formatting if needed.
  6. Click "Print."

Additionally, if you have multiple forms in QuickBooks Desktop, you can print them all simultaneously.

If you are interested in sprucing up your reports in QuickBooks Desktop, you might find this article helpful: Customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop. It offers detailed information on personalizing reports to suit your needs.

Please note that the label format may vary depending on the type of the label and printer. Thanks for coming back to this thread, angel511. I’m here to provide some clarification regarding your inquiry about printing labels in QuickBooks.

I can see how the ability to print item labels can benefit your business. However, this option is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Desktop. The steps outlined above were focused on printing shipping labels. That said, I encourage you to send feedback about this. Your input is invaluable and will help inform our product development team as they consider enhancements for future updates.

Here's how to do that:

  1. On the top menu, go to Help.
  2. Select Send Feedback Online, and then Product Suggestion.
  3. Enter your suggestions.
  4. Click Send Feedback.
