Product & Services ID

How can I export a Product & Services List in Quickbooks Online that shows the Product ID? (I did this a couple of months ago, but can not remember, and I need to update my list.)

Product & Services ID

We're delighted to have you in this forum, KathieH1. You can configure your report to download them with a column for product & service ID or SKU. I'll guide you through the detailed process.

In QuickBooks Online, the Product/Service List is accessed either in the Modern View or Classic View. The customization method of adding an ID or SKU will depend on this experience.

If it launches in Modern View, you can proceed to these steps:

  1. Head to Reports in the left pane.
  2. Choose Standard reports and utilize the search field to locate and open the Product/Service List.
  3. Once the report is open, select Columns and tick the SKU check box.
  4. Click the Export icon at the top right corner.

If you're in the Classic View, follow the instructions below:

  1. In the Product/Service List report page, select the Customize option.
  2. Go to the Rows/Columns section and click Change Columns.
  3. Check the SKU box, then hit Run Report.
  4. Select the Export button.
  5. Choose how you want to export the data: Export to Excel or Export to PDF.

After that, you might want to memorize the report so you don’t have to redo the customization process in the future. Once saved, you may also email it at your preferred frequency.
