Project

We are a roofing company that use Job Nimbus, 3rd party interface, to manage jobs. In QBO I convert customers to projects. It seems that anytime we receive a payment to the job in Job Nimbus & it syncs with QBO, the project is marked "Complete" in QBO, even though it is not complete. Is there a way to prevent this? Once it is marked "Complete" I can no longer post job supply invoices or contractor payments to the project until I go back into the project and change the status. Is it possible to prevent this?

I'd like to check this for you and get it of taken care myself. However, all third-party applications (non-intuit) will no longer have access to their software.

 

I'd suggest getting in touch with Job Nimbus on how to prevent the project status from marking as complete once it syncs in QuickBooks.

 

For now, as a way around, I'd recommend changing the project's status manually.
