I'm happy to provide some info about the updated appearance of QuickBooks Online.
QuickBooks Online has transitioned to a new, redesigned interface featuring updated navigation, a new banking screen, and changed, consolidated menus to improve user experience. While many users were moved automatically, some may still have the option to switch between "Business" and "Accountant" views via the Gear icon.
Here are a few key changes and navigation tips:
- Navigation Changes: The left menu is now reorganized, with features like "Expenses" and "Inventory" often found in an app carousel.
- New "Create" Menu: The "+" (New) button is updated for faster transaction entry.
- Invoice/Estimate Layout: The layout for invoices and estimates has changed. Some users might still be able to revert via an "Old Layout" button within an invoice.
- Switching Views: If available, users can toggle between the new look and the "Classic" view through the Gear icon. Note that Intuit is phasing out the old layout.
