I have a company showing up multiple times in the document management app. This makes it so much more difficult. The app is has no help in it. Please please please go back to being able to scan directly into desktop. You short cut is such a time suck. Not only do I have to sometimes scan to 3 companies to get the right one, it only scans one page a time. Most of my invoices and other support are multiple pages.
You got me now, @bethlloyd01. I have some troubleshooting steps that will help you sort things out.
You'll want to ensure the system is updated to its latest release. Doing this will give you a better experience and fix unusual issues in your QuickBooks Desktop account.
If the issue persists after doing that, I recommend running the Verify and Rebuild tools, this help finds the most common data issues in a company file and fixes them.

That did not help. I am still seeing 3 copies of a company in my apple app. Really hate this system, and wish we could scan directly into quickbooks like in the past. The app is a time suck.

Do you mean you can still see three companies from the No Company Open window? If so, you can remove the unused companies by clicking the Edit List button. This way, the company will be hidden but not deleted. Make sure to leave the Company you are currently working for.

I am talking about the document management quickbooks app for desktop. It lists a company 3 times.

Not using a 3rd party app. I am using the intuit quickbooks desktop app for document management. Intuit took away the ability to scan directly into quickbooks 2 or 3 updates ago. I work in a remote desktop enviroment, and there have been no good alternatives provided. This is the app that intuit developed, but there is no help or support provided that I can find. Really would like the ability to scan directly again. It sucks and as this tread proves, is just a time suck.
