hi ANDRANNA ,

Care to share the screenshot? We are using Premier 2017 and find it easily.

Keep calm and let's move your data, Andranna.

The Export Company File to QuickBooks Online option is only available for QuickBooks Desktop Pro and Premier.

For Enterprise users, here's how to export your data to QuickBooks Online:

  1. Log in to your company file as an admin.
  2. Press Ctrl + 1 to open the Product Information page. You can press F2 as a shortcut.
  3. In the Product Information window, press Ctrl + B + Q.
  4. Click OK to close the Product Information window. It will now open the Export to QuickBooks Online window.
  5. Select Start your export and enter your QuickBooks Online login credentials.
  6. Follow the available prompts to finish the export process.

To see the detailed steps, you can go to the QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise section of this article: Move your QuickBooks Desktop File to QuickBooks Online.

After that process, you can log in you to your QuickBooks Online account and review the transferred data.

I got you if you have more questions.

Thank you, I've been trying to migrate my data for months; been paying $17/month for probably about 6 months, several trouble reports, several attempts.

Here's my next new problem, now that I've migrated data, my subscription says that it's expiring next month and now wants to charge me $75/month instead of the $17/month I was quoted and have been paying for months.

What I migrated was personal home accounting records, no inventory, no payroll.  I have a rental and that's it.

My personal books were tied with my now ex-husband's books, a second company.  I DO NOT WANT TO PAY  $75/MONTH for simple accounting practices.

Please help.

hi @ANDRANNA ,

Hopefully it is still relevant to your needs. You may reconsider to downgrade your data on Enterprise edition to Pro/Premier. You will not bother with any subscription fee anymore. Just my 2 cents.

Thank you, but when I signed up for QB Online and explained my situation to the sales rep, she assured me I could migrate my data, she assured me that I wouldn't need more than what I've been paying for (with no use) for the past 6 mos.

I'm a little dismayed with the software program I have been using for 20+ years.

Hated the jump to "online" services; NO 1 - not liking that all my info is out there IN THE ETHER WE CALL CLOUD COMPUTING; NO 2 - not liking that I have to pay monthly for a software program I use to paying for one time only; monthly/annual billings  just greed!

Thinking that maybe a smaller, simpler, owner based program would fit my needs.

Looking into Quicken; buy and own the software; update only as needed; nobody is privy to your info.

Not a fan, but done with cloud based accounting with QB; so stupid!
