QB desktop Estimates and associated Sales Orders

The process is like this:

I create an Estimate (manually) on Quickbooks desktop (Enterprise).

Then from that Estimate, I "create sales order" (from top menu).

Now is there a way I can find that what sales order is associated to what estimate. Yes they would belong to a customer.

But I need to do DBSync integration and I need to know which Sales Order is associated to which Estimate.

So, is there a way which I can customize or something existing.

Please let mw know. (New to QB)

QB desktop Estimates and associated Sales Orders

Thanks for reaching out to us, dm5Exceptions.

I'm here to help you manage your sales transaction.

You can run the Sales Order by Detail report and customize it to easily identify which sales order is associated with the estimate.

Let me provide you the steps. Here's how:

  1. From the Reports menu, choose Sales, then Open Sales Orders by Item.
  2. Choose the Customize Report button.
  3. In the Columns section, look for Item and Item Description and select them.
  4. Click the Customize Report button from the open sales order item page.
  5. Then choose the Estimate active option under the column's dropdown.
  6. Then click ok.
