QB online mobile app

None of the BILLS entered for a vender appear on the mobile app. There is a message that says "when you add an expense, they appear here". Bills are entered for accounts payable, not as an expense. The settings on the online account is set for Accrual basis. Does anyone know why bills do not show up under a vender. (This is only on the MOBILE app) Thank you, Adam.

You can view bills from your Bill pay screen in the mobile app.

 

Here's how:
 

  1. Tap Menu (☰).
  2. Go to Bill pay.
  3. Access your Paid or Unpaid tab.
  4. Find and select a bill you want to view.

 

I can certainly understand how an ability to view bills on vendor profiles could be useful and have submitted a suggestion about it as of today.

 

You can also submit your own feature requests while signed in with a web browser.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in with a browsing application.
  2. Use the Gear () icon, then go to Feedback.
  3. Enter your suggestion(s) in the Have feedback? window.
  4. If necessary, attach a file with your Camera () icon.
  5. Select Next.

Hi ZackE, thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I do not have a bill pay tab at all on my app. I believe I saw some instructions on the video link you sent me about setting up a payment method first. I do not see where there is an opportunity to do that. Also, I do not use the bill pay feature at all. So, I'm guessing the developers do not include bills under the Vender section at all. There are 2 choices (Activities & Details). The only time anything appears under Activities is when a bill is paid with a credit card. The actual bill does not show at all.

Hello, @adreher1. I'll provide an alternative method on how to view your bills under a vendor in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

Currently, there are limited features available in the mobile app. However, you can use the web browser to view your transactions under a vendor. Here's how:

 

  1. Log in your QBO account in the web browser (using your mobile).
  2. Head to the left menu and select Expenses
  3. Choose the Vendors section and find your vendor.
  4. Locate the bills under the Transactions List
