We have QuickBooks 2023 running on a 2016 Windows Server for between 15-20 users depending on how many people are working on a particular day. Every 2 or so days I am having to run the QB tool hub and use the print fix. This happened on QB 2022 and now it’s happening on 2023 as well. Once the tool hub is ran, it does fix the issue but it doesn’t stay fixed. When users experience the issue they get checks, invoices, etc half cut off or the error “the form you are about to print does not fit on the page.” As said the tool will fix the issue and let the user print but they do not have any page modifications that should be causing this error. I run QB 2023 on my workstation with just me accessing it and I have never had any of these issues that the other users on the terminal server are experiencing. Anyone else having this issue or have any idea how to fix it more permanently.
Thank you for the complete details you shared regarding the printing issue your users are experiencing, @agmhunter. I see that you've been troubleshooting now and then to get rid of the error and fix it permanently. Worry no more, I'll share additional information you'd like to consider inspecting.
I reviewed my resources and verified that Windows Server 2016 is one of the database servers supported by QuickBooks. Since you have fifteen to twenty (15-20) users, ensure to use 16 to 20+ GB RAM. This way, you can get the most out of the program.
Additionally, let's check your Formatting and Customize Data Layout on your invoice template. From there, select the correct printer settings or orientation and paper size. Once done, click OK. For reference, I'm adding a screenshot below:
Here’s helpful info about the operating system, hardware, software, and other requirements to run the program: System requirements for QuickBooks Desktop 2023.

You should be able to confirm if the repeated issue is caused by the incorrect printing setting with these details. If there's anything else I can help you with, add them below. I'll be here to address them for you.
Hit CTRL + 1 keys. How big is your file size?
Try running the Verify Data utility. Any error reports?
The company file having this issue was just created a month ago or so. No corruption of the file and less than 30MB currently.
So today I had the company file experiencing the issue and changing the setting like you suggested on the formatting invoice to be printed. This allowed the invoice to be printed and we figured out that the custom invoice template was causing the issue and they have fixed that.
The biggest issue that the user is still experiencing, and other users with different company files are experiencing the same thing, the invoice is generating but it's half cut off. This is on invoices, sales orders, checks, etc. The only way to fix it is to run the QB tool hub and run the PDF repair. This happened on QB 2022 desktop and now happening in QB 2023.
