Buy nowLately quickbooks has been totaling estimates incorrectly and also when I convert estimate to invoice total changing as well. Support says they don't know why and is not offering any solution.
Check out the screen shot, it is crazy!
There are a few factors that affect the total when converting an estimate to an invoice, David. We can check the detailed breakdown of the sales tax included in the items, and I'll show you how.
One of the reasons why the invoice total differs from the estimates is the rates applied to taxable items. To verify the issue, let's open the transaction (estimate) to see if the Tax column has a checkmark. If so, click See the math under the Sales tax section for the complete details of the computation.
However, I recommend contacting our representatives if you've verified that the total amounts are incorrect. They can pull up your account securely and conduct further investigation. Rest assured that we're committed to resolving this promptly.

@JamaicaA RE: There's an in-progress report of the rounding amount causing miscalculation when turning the estimate into an invoice.
Huh? Where do you see a rounding error on the OP's screenshot? Please explain.
