QBO chart of accounts not displaying comma's or dollar signs

Can you tell us which section in the Chart of Accounts? Are you referring to amounts or numbers in your bank register?

Yes, it is the bank account balances, fixed assets etc.

Yes, it is in the bank area, and the fixed assets area of the chart of accounts.

Mine, as well.  Looks really unprofessional and cluttered.  Typical of QB to make it look like crap.

I understand how important it is for you to show the dollar sign and commas in the chart of accounts in QuickBooks Online (QBO). At this time, this option is unavailable. To view the dollar sign, simply click on the View Register option.

I don't need help reconciling, as I do it every month. I just would like to know why it changed (it used to show the commas at least), and when it will be fixed.

The dollar sign will only appear once we select the bank account and click on the View Register link. See the screenshot for your reference:

We see consumer feedback as an opportunity to improve the numerous features of our products. I'd recommend giving our engineers direct feedback. They may look into this suggestion and incorporate it into future updates. Let me demonstrate:

1. Go to the Gear icon on the top menu.
2. Click Feedback.
3. Type in your recommendation in the Share your feedback field.
4. Tap Next.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

Okay, I get the dollar sign appears in the register but WHY did the COMMAS go away in the chart of accounts? That looks sloppy and very unprofessional.

Totally agree. this makes the chart of accounts much harder to read. 

I wish they would respond to why the commas went away.
