Hello there, @rfmagnet. I understand that the interruption of your long-standing Etsy sync presents a challenge, particularly as this integration is no longer a priority for the Self-Employed platform. I recommend utilizing manual CSV imports or upgrading to QuickBooks Online to ensure a more reliable connection moving forward.
While QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) remains functional for existing subscribers, it is being gradually phased out in favor of newer platforms, including QuickBooks Solopreneur and QuickBooks Online (QBO). Consequently, technical issues with third-party connections may persist, as the "Etsy Connector" and official "Sync with Etsy" apps are now designed specifically for the modern interface in QBO.
Since upgrading is not an option for you, I recommend manually importing your Etsy CSV files to ensure your 2026 records remain accurate while the sync is unavailable.
- Go to the Transactions menu
- Select click the Dropdown arrow beside the Add transaction button.
- Upload your Etsy CSV to ensure your 2026 books stay up to date while the sync is down.
Please don't hesitate to click the Reply button if you have other questions QuickBooks.
