Buy nowHey Intuit,
How much does the version of quickbooks cost where you I don't have to waist my time constantly opting out of and closing your ads for all the junk I don't want? I already pay you guys thousands of dollars a year just to use the service but apparently you still need to try and sell me other items every single time I open a basic function like expenses or banking. I've lost count of how many times I've told your system that I'm not looking for a loan but it's being counted in the hundreds!
Seriously how is there not an opt out for this crap, efficiency is a key to any accounting software and I could understand this stuff on a free app but when I already pay for your service you are doing your customers a serious disservice here.
I understand it wasn't ideal for you, and the pop-up ads may interfere with your work, Jon STK. Let me share some information about this behavior.
The pop-up notifications are intended to advise and propose ways to improve your QuickBooks experience. I understand that these ads may interfere with your navigation. At this time, you can ignore them by clicking the X or the No, thank you! button so that the system will turn off the advertisements and remember your preference this way. As a result, the pop-up will not appear again.
While completely disabling them is unavailable, you may submit a feature request directly to our product developers. This way, they can evaluate the possibility of removing the ads entirely. To start:
Once done, your valuable feedback goes to our Product Development team to help improve your QBO experience. You can track feature requests through the QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website.
On the other hand, you can go to this website to discover more about the latest QuickBooks plans and pricing: Plans for every kind of business.
Please extend your patience about this matter. If you have any other QuickBooks questions, please leave them in the comments section below. I'm only a few clicks away from assisting you once more. Have a wonderful day!
Hi Angelyn,
While I appreciate you responding the information provided simply is not accurate. I wish there was a way to get your system to remember my preferences so I only had to close the message once, but that is the problem, the majority of these "suggestions" have no option that says " No thank you" for example when I open my banking screen (which I do everyday) my entire screen filled with a useless cartoon and a big statement telling me how quickbooks can now automatically match quickbooks payments transactions. That would be fine one time but this is every time I open banking, the only options are to click "x" which does close it or click "next" which takes me thru to more screens telling about the feature that I am well aware of. Neither option saves any preference and the next time I log into quickbooks I get the exact same thing (pictured below).
That separate from the "tips" that popup all the time which are really ads for other quickbooks services.
I've also tried the features request multiple time to no avail, just looked at the link you sent, it's loaded with people that have the same request which seem to be going nowhere. Most of them have the same issue about how it wastes either our time or our bookkeepers on a service that is paid.
Here's a sample of the many requests
