QUICK BOOKS LICENSES

We have purchased Quick Books Desktop Premier Version 2020, 3 USERS. After a couple of months, our business grew, and we decided to buy additional licenses; therefore, we purchased three rights. I believe that Quick Books Desktop Premier Multi User supports five users, but I had to purchase three others.

 

When we press F2 to key to find our licenses, it shows only three. I have a few questions and would appreciate it if you could please respond to my questions in detail.

 

  • Can I merge both licenses in one Book?

 

  • I have five users, and my current license states only 3.

 

 

3) I do not want to open another company, as we all run our transactions in one Book.

 

Please advise!

QUICK BOOKS LICENSES

QBD 2020 is outdated and as I know they will not accept to buy additional license seats. You can only purchase additional license seats for supporting licenses (e.g. 2021-2023). Your option is buying a new license for QBD 2023 Premier Plus for 5 users.

QUICK BOOKS LICENSES

In QuickBooks Desktop, there is no option to merge licenses for one company file.

 

Also, you mentioned you are using QuickBooks Desktop 2020 which is an outdated version. You may need to upgrade to the latest version.

 

You can contact our Customer Care team if you want to update your QuickBooks Desktop.

 

  1. Open QuickBooks.
  2. Go to Help, then select QuickBooks Desktop Help/Contact Us.
  3. Click Contact Us.
  4. Enter a brief description of your issue and select Continue.
  5. Sign in to your Intuit account, and click Continue and then Continue with my account.
    • If you don't already have an account, choose Create a new account.
  6. We'll email you a single use code. Enter your code and select Continue.
    • If you have more than one account, choose an account you want to use and then Continue.
  7. Choose to chat with us or Have us call you.
