Hello there, @kn20987. I'll share some insights about creating an invoice.
When creating an invoice, it should populate the date today as default. Since you are getting two months behind for the date, make sure to review if you have a recurring transaction for this customer.
If there is none, you can perform troubleshooting steps to help you get the date today for the invoice.
Your browsers save temporary internet files and cache, which leads to unexpected behavior. To see if it's a browser issue, try accessing your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account through an incognito/private browser.
Here’s how:
- Google Chrome, press CTRL + Shift + N
- Mozilla Firefox: press CTRL + Shift + P
- Internet Explorer: Press CTRL + Shift + P
- Safari: press Command + Shift + N
If your account works correctly in the private browser, log in with the original browser and clear the browser's cache. Otherwise, you can use a different browser.
Follow the steps below:
- Open Chrome.
- Click More.
- Choose More Tools, then Clear browsing data.
- Add a time range. Select All time to delete everything.
- Check the boxes next to Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
- Select Clear data.
