Please note that the email service requires a supported version of QuickBooks. Older versions no longer receive the latest releases or updates, which may impact your access to email services.
To keep everything running smoothly and take advantage of the latest features, functionalities, and added security, I’d recommend upgrading to the latest version of QuickBooks Desktop.
Alternatively, you can download the invoice as a PDF and send it manually outside of QuickBooks. To download, follow these steps:
- Go to the Customers menu and click Customer center.
- Select Transactions, then Invoices.
- Find the transaction you want to send and double-click to open it.
- Click the dropdown menu under Print.
- Hit Save as PDF, name the file, then Save.
After that, locate the folder where you saved the file so you can attach it to your email.
