SUMMER SAVINGS 90% OFF QuickBooks for 3 months* Ends June 27
Buy nowI have a client using QuickBooks: Premier Manufacturing and Wholesale Edition 2019. Since October 2021 it has been crashing for one user on the network 3 or 4 times a day. On the end user's screen the error message says "unrecoverable error" There are 3 other computers that don't use it as much but generally have it open all day that it doesn't crash on.
So far we have:
What else should I be looking at or where can I find better logs of why it crashed?
I'm here to provide the help you need and guide you to the right support, Extra Mike.
To ensure that QuickBooks works well, you'll want to check out the system requirements of both your computer and the QuickBooks Desktop version. I'll be adding the link that will help you look into your specification and guide you on how to upgrade if there's a need to do so: System requirements for QuickBooks Desktop 2019 and Enterprise Solutions 19.0.
If all system requirements are being met but the same thing happens, I'd suggest contacting our Technical Support Team. They'll pull up your account in a secure environment and investigate what's causing this issue.
Here's how to reach them:
I've got a link here that provides you with articles about managing your business in QuickBooks: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/get-started/07.
Keep me posted if you need a hand with creating transactions or any QuickBooks-related. I'm always here to ensure your success. Keep safe and healthy.
Which Windows OS are you using?
Windows 10 Pro (10.0.19044)
I believe you have an active subscription license from your QB Desktop Enterprise. Consider installing QB Desktop 2020 on all the same machines, running it at the same time and comparing it to the existing QBS 2019.
@Extra Mike I'm dealing with the exact same issue with a client of mine: windows 10 pro, great pc specs, company file on server 2012r2 server, QB Enterprise Solutions: Manufacturing and Wholesale 19 (R16_55) installed. User was connecting to company file via PNC path but I recently switched her to mapped drive. We'll see if that helps, but doubt it will.
QB shuts down many times a day and generates this error in event viewer:
An unexpected error has occured in "Intuit QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions: Manufacturing and Wholesale 19.0": QuickBooks has experienced a problem and must be shut down, ErrorCode:1994831458. |
Of course I can't find any help on this error. I have completely reinstalling QB on this pc, deleting all QB related directories prior to reinstalling.
Other pcs in the office are similar and other users using the same QB version and accessing the same company file don't have this issue. I've already run file doctor and all the things.
Were you ever able to find a solution to this?
I ended up upgrading the entire office to the next version.
