Last May 31, 2023, QuickBooks Desktop 2020 software was discontinued, which affected all versions of QuickBooks Desktop Pro, QuickBooks Desktop Premier, QuickBooks Desktop for Mac, and QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions v20. This discontinuation also impacted other Intuit products.
For customers who have not upgraded their software, it's important to note that live technical support is no longer available for integrated services such as QuickBooks Desktop Payroll, QuickBooks Desktop Payments, and online bank feeds. Additionally, discontinued versions will not receive critical security patches and updates.

Regarding the prompt to register again, it is a result of the discontinuation of QuickBooks Desktop 2020. As a solution, you have the option to upgrade your QuickBooks Desktop version or transition to QuickBooks Online.
