Hello, Luen. The advanced "Find" filters focus on header-level fields such as Customer, Date, Total, and Memo, rather than on item-level details.

If you manually entered the description in the invoice form, you can use the Memo filter in the Advance page on your Find filter option to search for the invoice. QuickBooks recognizes manually entered text within the memo field, allowing you to locate the invoice based on this description.

However, if the description was entered as part of the Item list, it will not appear when searching with the Memo filter. Instead, we recommend running the Sales by Customer Detail Report. This report gives you visibility into the transaction Item Description field, helping you locate invoices with specific item descriptions.

Here's how to run and customize the Sales by Customer Detail Report:

 - Go to the Reports menu.
- Select Sales, then click on Sales by Customer Detail.
- In the report window, select the Customize Report option at the top.
- When the customization window appears, select the Display tab.
- Under the Columns section, locate and select the Item Description option to include this information in your report.
- Hit OK to apply the changes.
- In the upper-right corner of the report, use the Look for search field to input the specific description you're looking for.
