Yes, QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) MAC 2020 will still work with Sonoma's latest update, V14.8.3. However, there's a higher chance that you'll encounter bugs, security errors, and system glitches due to incompatibility reasons, as well as the fact that this QuickBooks version is no longer supported.
 
Considering that, I agree with my colleague's suggestion above to upgrade to QuickBooks Online (QBO) or to the latest version of QBDT Mac.

Hey @Bryan_M , thanks for the reply and confirming that my current version of QB for Mac Desktop will work with Sonoma 14.8.3.  That's a relief, I was holding off on doing the update.  

As for QBDT Mac link you shared, it doesn't show me how to buy the latest 2024 version.  (I'm 10000% NOT interested in the monthly subscription version.)  Fingers crossed Intuit will release a 2026 version this year!  I'll be happy to get that AND upgrade my computer to Tahoe OS.
