Since you have an active QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus annual subscription, you can upgrade your version anytime for free, and you don't have to purchase the latest version separately. Simply follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Help menu, then select Upgrade QuickBooks
- When you’re ready, select Upgrade Now.
- Select Keep old version on my computer if you want to keep your current QuickBooks. Then click Let’s go. QuickBooks downloads, installs, and activates the new version for you. It updates your company file(s).
- When the upgrade is done, hit Open QuickBooks.
If you don't get the prompt to upgrade your QuickBooks subscription, you can use the Discovery Hub to upgrade. Here's how:
- Click and open the Discovery Hub at the top right corner, then select Upgrade to QuickBooks 2024.
- Select Proceed to upgrade, then hit Upgrade now.
- If you want both versions, click Keep old version on my computer. Otherwise, let's leave it blank.
- Once done, click Open QuickBooks.
Alternatively, you can also get the latest version of the program from the QuickBooks Desktop Manager, then install the product version and utilize your product license key to proceed with the process.
