Thank you for your reply. I took a look at the apps in your link and filtered by the 'data sync' category but it looks like a lot of these are for Quickbooks Online and not Quickbooks Desktop. Is there any way to filter down to just QBDT apps?

It seems that what Method CRM is doing is pretty rare. I can't seem to find another app that does the same thing. Specifically, I'm looking for an app that syncs all of our transaction tables from QBDT (Invoice, InvoiceLine, Salesorder, SalesorderLine, etc) and also provides us a REST API interface in order to work with those transactions. 

Instead of clicking through each of those apps in your link, I figured it'd be quicker to ask if someone had experience with an app that does what we're looking for.

I've reviewed the link provided by MaryJoyD and can confirm all apps available there are for QuickBooks Desktop.

While you're researching them to find one that may work for your business, I'd recommend reading their features, reviews, questions, etc. This will help you to better understand how each application works.

Bumping this thread. Are there really no other apps that sync your QB data that provide a REST API? Because I can't find one.

What kind of 3rd party app do you need to integrate with QBD? 

I was told that Qucikbooks Desktop 2021 has a REST API interface like Cloud Quickbooks.  But I cannot find any document references to it.  Can someone help?

As provided by my colleague MJoy_D above, we're unable to provide a specific app here in QuickBooks Community. There are several third-party applications integrated with QuickBooks Desktop. I can guide you on how to find one that suits your business needs.

I'll show you how:

1. Go to Help from the menu and choose App Center: Find more Business Solutions.
2. Use the search bar and enter the keyword to look for an app.
3. Choose an app from the list.

We thought maybe there was an app from "Apps for QuickBooks Desktop " that would allow us to use REST API (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, etc.) calls to work with Quickbooks Desktop 2019 database data. For example, we could use Node.js to read/write/delete data with simple REST API calls
