QuickBooks Desktop - Sending Invoices via email

I'm having a BIG issue with sending invoices via email, I am the admin, I checked the preferences and can't see what's wrong, but all of a sudden my emails are putting in 12pts after each line. SO my emailed invoices are way to long, nobody scrolls anymore and my renewal invoices have lots of information in the email. PLEASE HELP, how did this change on it's own. Cheryl

QuickBooks Desktop - Sending Invoices via email

I appreciate what you've done so far, Cheryl. I can provide steps to correct email template issues with invoices in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

If you're using a custom template, let's delete it and recreate a new one to correct this:

  1. Open your QBDT account.
  2. Go to the Edit tab and select Preferences.
  3. Click the Send Forms section and select Company Preferences.
  4. On the Email Templates dropdown, choose Invoices.
  5. Delete the custom template you're using.

    delete custom template.png
  6. Click on Add Template to recreate.

    Recreate.png

  7. Once done, Click Save.
  8. Select the recreated template and click Set as Default.
  9. Click Yes to confirm.

    Set as Default.png

On the other hand, if you're using the default template and confirm that there are no extra lines or spaces, let's perform company data troubleshooting to fix this.

Furthermore, you can utilize this article to learn how to personalize reports based on the needs of your business: Customize company and financial reports.

I'll be available to help with any additional questions or concerns regarding email templates for invoices. Have a productive day.
