QuickBooks desktop used customer and jobs but online does not (Advance Version)

We used QuickBooks desktop for construction business.  We set up customer and had jobs under it.  Since converting from desktop to Online Advance on May 14th, there are issues with projects. We have a large project with currently 21 buildings.  Some I made inactive, but the Customer and sub-customer does not show up in either customer or projects in order to convert to a project.  This project has overall customer file, and each building is listed as a job with customer as parent. and under each building the units are listed as a job with reference to the building as parent.  Each building has the customer's overall name for parent.  None of the sub-customers (Jobs-Building or units) under this customer has shown under the convert sub-customer to project.  We place estimate under building (Sub) and vendor item expenses hit building but there are a few that may go directly to the unit when sold such as closing invoicing, invoice payment, closing expenses and punch/warranty expenses for a year.  The actual to Estimate reports are pull from the overall building (sub).  How do we now get this under the project with units under the building (sub) and show all expenses for current building under construction?  Please help.

You should have a construction management app to integrate with QBO. Otherwise, consider switching back to QB Desktop.

Thank you for your response.  I wish that was feasible, but with desktop being discontinued and offering only online that is not an option.  We need to determine a work around and hope that someone has information that can assist with processing within Online Advance version.  If we were a large organization, then having an outside source to run projects would be an option, but with smaller companies that would not be a good use of resources.  Thank you again.
