I can share some details about creating invoices using excel in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
The option the use excel to create invoices isn't available in QuickBooks Desktop. As a workaround, you can utilize the IIF feature to import invoices data in your QuickBooks Desktop.
Here's how:
- Go to the File menu, then select Utilities.
- Choose Import, then Excel Files.
- Click Advanced import.
- Follow the on-screen process and map the information.

Additionally, you can add and edit multiple customers, vendors, and items. You can copy and paste list information from Excel directly into QuickBooks.
