Hello Everyone,
My organisation is currently using desktop QB/VPN access to QB and we would like to migrate to Cloud eventually. Can you please confirm if QB has an enterprise cloud service?
Thanks for your input.
Regards
S. Bhat
It’s nice to see you in the Community, Shazia Bhat.
Thanks for considering migrating over to QuickBooks Enterprise. Let me route you in the right direction about using the cloud service.
Yes, QuickBooks Enterprise with Hosting lets you work from anywhere and on any device. Also, the data file is protected and accessible. It allows your employees to work on the same information at the same time.

You may have 2 options:
1. Deploy a private cloud. You may combine LAN users and remote users to access the same file at the same time.

2. Put your license and company file(s) on an authorized QB hosting provider.

Is there a need for installation service when we sign-up for Quickbooks Enterprise Cloud Service? Will be like Quickbooks online where we just log-in and start using?
Hi there, Hunts.
Yes. To use QuickBooks Desktop, you'll need to install it. I'm here to guide you through the process.
Once you download QuickBooks Desktop, you're good to install the program. Before doing so, make sure your computer meets the system requirements. If you haven’t already, download your version of QuickBooks Desktop. Then, have your product and license number handy.
For the detailed steps of the installation, you can check this reference: Install QuickBooks Desktop.
If you have some concerns about the installation, you may find this article helpful: Help Articles.
I'm just a post away if you need help managing your QuickBooks Desktop.
You do not need to install QB Desktop Enterprise program on your local machines. Consider purchasing your subscription from an authorized partner for an annual renewal discount of up to 20%.
If you prefer to combine local users and remote users working on the same QB Desktop file, consider using another solution.
I was referring to this subscription (pls see attached screen shot) offered by Intuit. Do i need installation service from a local provider?
Thanks
@Hunts
Hi Adrian,
I was referring to Intuit offer for Quickbooks Enterprise with Cloud Access. Will quickbooks be installed and ready to use when i subscribe?
What services does your local provider offer? You don't need to buy anything from your local provider to install anything. The only difference is the subscription price. If you buy directly from Intuit, you may get a one-time 40% discount compared to the perpetual renewal discount of up to 20% off through an authorized partner.
