I have mac2019 and my qb does not open since I downloaded Sonoma? Also, my capital one statements , which I reached out to intuit about 1 year ago, do not download directly into my page anymore either? Im sure you are busy working on both fixes but you guys never seem to come with any solutions when asked about issues, it is only we are working on it. Im sure Mac let you guys know a least 1 year ago about this new software? Why are there only we are working on it, and it's not a smooth transition. very disappointed in this company over the last couple of years. Yo guys charge more and more and more, and this is the issues we deal with. we cannot get any of our vital bookkeeping records until you fix this problem. SHAM ON YOU!11

I've been down this road before. Intuit doesn't support its software to force customers to pay more. It used to require a chunk of change every three years. Now it's a minimum of a $1/day to migrate to online QB. (Intuit doesn't allow QB to be migrated to Quicken.) What next? If I knuckle under, subscribe and migrate on-line, I have no confidence it will go smoothly or that I will receive customer service that won't cost me more time and money. I have lost faith. Correction: As far as I'm concerned, if I do business with Intuit, I deserve the neglect and exploitation I get and have no right to complain. As unhappy as losing access to MANY years of data would be, I'm in the market for an alternative product.
I updated my Quickbooks 2021 for my Mac Sonoma today and everything working the way it should, Thanks for coming up with the fix so quickly.

You can use the workaround I mentioned earlier to use the trial version of QBD 2021 Mac on your machine. But if you prefer to use your QBD 2019 Windows, you will need someone to convert your data from QBD 2019 Mac. Contact me in private if you need help.
Nothing is working to try to revive my Quickbooks 2020 for Mac Desktop. All of the normally clickable buttons on the top header do not respond other than the colored spinning ball. There is no way to access anything at all. It is the same as a crashed site. Over 10 years of my business are held hostage. It has been suggested to install a QB 2021 or newer, but there is no way to do that. No way to access my account number or access the migration assistant. This is horrible.

Well maybe you guys shouldn’t hold peoples account info at ransom for an exorbitant rate to switch from desktop versions to online. Shame on you intuit. 18 years a loyal customer to be abandoned and left for dead. An 2019 user here that refuses to be dragged across the coals for your “new” subscription based model. 3 plus hours on phone to be ignored and not replied to.
all I get is a “suggest you migrate to qb online” we aren’t providing a fix for 2019.
Same problem here, I refuse to be dragged at gunpoint to a monthly fee, I feel blackmailed. But guess this is the new norm.

I can share some information about the error you're having when trying to open your QuickBooks Desktop for Mac, @Lynfield.
If you're encountering an error while opening QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) on your Mac, you can try to resolve it by holding down the Command button while opening the program. However, if the error persists, there's a known issue when attempting to open QuickBooks for Mac on Sonoma OS (v14). Customers have reported being unable to open QB Mac on the new Sonoma OS and receiving a spinning wheel. Our Product Engineering team is aware of this problem and is currently working on a fix.
In the meantime, I suggest contacting our Customer Support Team, so you'll be added to the list of affected users and receive an email notification once we resolve the issue.
If you are unable to access your QuickBooks Desktop for Mac, you can click on the What can we help you with? link. From there, select QuickBooks for Mac from the dropdown menu and provide all the necessary information about your concern. This will help us check for any available types of support that may be available at that time. Then, let them add you to Investigation No. 93522.

I am also having issues related to the Sonoma update. I have QuickBooks for Mac 2020. When I would go to the Home Page to create an Invoice then I would get the spinning ball. So I got on here to try and fix it. I saw a link to download QuickBooks Desktop 2021 since it seemed that was still support and I was panicking. So I downloaded it, everything went smooth. No more problems. But I can’t register it. I never got an email with any numbers. I was thinking somehow it was a free upload. When I try to choose Manage license… Buy Additional License is gray and can’t be selected. I can only open it 13 more times. I have Version V20.0.12 R13.3 and it says User Licenses 0.
