This usually happens if the file name was changed or moved to other location. Let's go ahead and find your company file.
Solution 1: We'll go to your server computer and perform a wildcard search for all company files by typing the following to the search bar:
Be sure to include the Asterisk (*) before the extension type to ensure the search works correctly.
Once the file is found, make a note of the file's location. Then, proceed to the next solution.
Solution 2: Opening a company file (.qbw).
Like this:
If you're accessing the file over the network, you can check out this article: Company file is missing or cannot be found. Follow the outlined steps to locate the file.

Now you need to choose the location where QB cloud hosting company file is stored.
Alternatively, you can try to access server IP Address if finding trouble in the UNC path.
Click Okand then click Finish.
Now you can try to open the QuickBooks with a newly mapped network drive.
in my case:
Windows 10 , unable to locate or access the Map drive,
after spending an hour, open the quickbooks , Open/Restore company file, you will not find the map drive or any network , right click the mouse on inside white window (the browser open file) Add a location , then type the network path (Example: \\10.1.10.111\MyCompanyFile) then you will find the shared file
Go to your mapped drive, find your data folder, locate the .qbw file you want to open and double click on it or right click and choose open with quickbooks. Once you open the first file you will see the system and folder under network as shown in picture. In our case we have 3 different companies so I just opened all 3 and they remain in the list.
It seems that running QuickBooks "As Administrator" disables mapped drive access. Also, it disabled all drag-and-drop of attachments.
Do not Run "As Administrator".
