Quickbooks online backup stuck for days

I'm using QB Advanced Online to backup my company file and it's been stuck for days trying to backup. I was with online support FIVE times and tried all of their "help" steps: different browsers, Incognito, clearing cache (same steps I found online when I searched for a solution). The Customer Care Team even took control of my screen to see what was happening and replied, "I can see that it's working. It could take some time if your file is large." (I've got 1665 entries). None of the "help" steps offered will work because I've tried all of them. It's the same problem as user  "aleksey_m" reported on ‎January 22, 2021 01:47 PM. In fact, one of the Customer Care Team members who responded in the blog was one of the people who tried to assist me!  This issue has NOT been resolved.

We don't want to leave you hanging, @paafcs.

 

We recently got an update from our product team regarding the issue on being unable to create a backup in Quickbooks Online Advanced. They're already aware of this and looking for a permanent fix.

 

To ensure you'll get an update about the resolution status, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. This way, they can add your company to the list of affected users and provide this investigation number for easy tracking: INV-57313. To reach our support team, please follow the steps below:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click the Help button.
  3. In the QuickBooks Assistance chatbox, select Talk to a human and choose I still need a human.
  4. Hit Contact Us.

Quickbooks online backup stuck for days

We just upgraded to Online Advanced and are having this same issue. Have been stuck on the phone with support for hours with no resolution. Shocking that this issue has been going on since January, and no resolution has been found.

You can downgrade to QBO Plus and utilize a 3rd party backup restore app.
