In addition, the IRS requires reporting of all payment cards and third-party network transactions. Thus, we need to file an annual information return and give you the Form 1099-K for your monthly and annual gross credit card/ACH bank transfer sales.
Also, to comply with this mandate, it’s important that the Tax Filing Name and Taxpayer Identification Number or Social Security Number we have on file is correct. This is the reason why you’re asked to enter your SSN.
