Quickbooks popup preventing API transfers

Can anyone tell me how to get this popup to stop appearing when opening the company file?

We have tried logging into Intuit and the qbw is already password protected.  The popup is preventing API transfers from occuring without QB being open.

Welcome to the Community, Christopher995.

The message you're encountering is caused by a required sign in from a user. If you have that user sign in, the message will stop appearing.

Here's how to turn off most product and service pop-ups if you're also encountering them:

  1. In your top menu bar, go to Edit, then Preferences.
  2. Click General, then My Preferences.
  3. Check the box next to Turn off popup messages for products and services.
  4. Select Done.

You also have the option to submit feedback about any messages that continue appearing after adjusting your preferences.

If you've already signed in with the user in question, but the message continues displaying, you'll want to get in touch with our Customer Care team. They'll be able to pull up your account in a secure environment, conduct further research with you, and create an investigation ticket if necessary.

Please don't hesitate to send a reply if there's any additional questions. Have a wonderful Tuesday!

You probably can't turn it off. Instead, do what the message says and log in as that user.

@ZackE  RE: Check the box next to Turn off popup messages for products and services.

Does that message have anything at all to do with products and services intuit offers customers? No, it doesn't.

Instead, it has to do with Intuit's obsession with making their customers set up and maintain passwords in their own company files - seemingly under some misguided idea that they as software developers are required to do so. Which of course they are not.
