I am currently importing updated inventory items into QuickBooks POS Version 2013 and encountering repeated errors during the preprocess stage.

QuickBooks POS 2013 Inventory Update File Import Failure

Hi there, Robin. Errors during the pre-processing stage usually occur due to issues with the file format or data integrity.

I recommend checking the import file and ensure that your inventory file is properly formatted and doesn't contain any missing or incorrect information (like empty fields or incorrect data types).

Then, double check if the items you're trying to import don't have duplicate IDs or conflicting information in the fields (such as item names or codes). Any discrepancies can cause the system to error during importing process.

Lastly, if you're working with a large file, try importing in smaller batches to pinpoint if the issue is related to a specific item or batch.

If you have further question or concern, feel free to leave a comment to this thread.
