I’ve been using QuickBooks for years with a paid two-user license. After canceling my subscription — which I just paid $1,600 for — suddenly multi-user access is disabled. Support tells me I now have to pay again to get my files fixed or buy a whole new version just to keep using a feature I already paid for. I got conflicting answers from different reps, and one even tried to blame my “large file size” to justify upselling. It’s clear QuickBooks is just trying to squeeze more money out of longtime customers. This feels like a bait-and-switch — and I’m not the only one. Total disappointment.
Which QB Desktop year version did you use? You can switch to a non subscription license if required.
