Can Quickbooks stop adding new supplier automatically? I do not want this function.

When updating bank transactions, Quickbooks adds new supplier  from copying the vendor name from the bank transaction.
This is totally unnesssary. 
Can I turn off this function?

One of the possible reasons why QuickBooks Online (QBO) auto-fills the transaction fields is that you may have enabled the Automation option in your bank transactions. To ensure that this gets sorted out, I suggest making the feature disabled. Let me guide you through the steps on how:

 

  1. Click Transactions on the left side menu.
  2. Choose Bank Transactions.
  3. Tick the Gear icon on the right-side menu.
  4. Toggle the Add new vendor option under Automation.
