One of the possible reasons why QuickBooks Online (QBO) auto-fills the transaction fields is that you may have enabled the Automation option in your bank transactions. To ensure that this gets sorted out, I suggest making the feature disabled. Let me guide you through the steps on how:
- Click Transactions on the left side menu.
- Choose Bank Transactions.
- Tick the Gear icon on the right-side menu.
- Toggle the Add new vendor option under Automation.
