Copy of Default Chart of Accounts for Nonprofit

Would anyone be willing to send me a copy of their default chart of accounts when they set up their nonprofit?  I changed a name on the chart of accounts and the account had transactions attached from previous years.  Trying to figure out which account it was.  Please someone help?

Copy of Default Chart of Accounts for Nonprofit

It's nice to see you here, @Confused52. Let's work together to identify which account was renamed in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

First, you can utilize our QBO test drive account and set the business type to non-profit, so you can have a copy of the default accounts.

Alternatively, user activities are recorded in the audit log. That said, you can use this feature to track the changes you made to your chart of accounts. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Audit Log.
  2. Utilize the Filter section to narrow the list.
  3. Read the description under the Event column and click View under History to reveal which account was modified.

You may also refer to this article to view the specific default accounts that QBO created upon creating your company: Manage default and special accounts in your QuickBooks Online chart of accounts.

Moreover, keep your accounts organized and easy to find by assigning account numbers. This way, you can quickly find them whenever you're searching or adding a transaction.
