How can I restore a deleted check? I deleted a check by mistake and I have tried the Audit Log and it did not work.

I can see how important it is for you to recover the deleted check, @andrew521. Let’s work together to see how we can restore that check for you.

 

We're unable to restore any deleted transaction once you've deleted it. However, we can use the Audit Log to recover the details of the deleted transaction, so you can re-enter the details into the account.

 

  1. Open the Gear icon and hit Audit Log.
  2. Choose the Filter drop-down and select the right User, Date Change, and Event(s).
  3. Under the Event section, choose Deleted/Voided Transactions.
  4. Then, find the deleted transaction.
  5. When you locate the deleted item, hit View under the History column.

From there, you can use the information from the Audit log to re-enter the transaction with its original transaction date.

Additionally, the Audit Log only tracks saved transactions, and there's no report for deleted transactions. Consider voiding a transaction, rather than deleting it completely from your records.
